Let’s get started.

Welcome Umer to Blogging Ask, Can You introduce yourself to our readers?

Hey Ramesh, First of all, Thanks for inviting me and I’m feeling really happy to be in your blog,

I’m Umer Qureshi, a 16 boy turned into a six-figure blogger and Founder of GuideBlogging.com, I’m into blogging when I was 13 so, I’ve quite good 3-year experience of blogging.

Apart from that, I’m running a Facebook community name as Guide Blogging – Blogging, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, and Digital Marketing where almost 16000+ people joined so far,

In this group, You’ll find many experts like Anil Agarwal, Bhanu Ahluwalia, Santanu Debnath, Sumit Sao, Navin Rao, Amit Mishra, Siddharth Pal, and many more who will help you anytime.

Why did you start blogging? Any inspiration?

I started Blogging when I was 13 but the reason behind to start It’s really interesting.

So my journey started in summer 2017, That time I usually free because of summer and On that summer,

My mom purchased a  new phone for herself so, Usually, as a kid, I use to watch Youtube Videos and just spent my all-time on social media,

And One day, When I was scrolling Youtube, I got one video and the video title is “How To Make Money Online” and after seeing that thumbnail, I got the curiosity to check it,

And, When I checked it, I got to know that we can make money through Youtube, and Instantly I started my youtube channel.

But because of a lack of consistency, I’m not able to make videos there,

So, I think to quit that and after quitting I watched the same video twice and Found Blogging.

So that’s how I started my journey but after starting my journey, I also faced so many struggles and but I try to overcome that, and Now I’m here.

And, When I started my blogging journey, I inspired a lot from Kulwant Nagi because I can easily relate his story as mine 🙂.

What was the idea behind GuideBlogging? And why you create this blog?

GuideBlogging is like a baby for me because after doing so much excitement and getting success in some blogs, I decided to do start it to share my knowledge of Blogging to the world,

And, One more reason is also to do the experiment, I’ve listened to this sentence so many times “Blogging Niche Is Tough”,

So I decided to make a blog around the Blogging niche and Show all the bloggers that, Still it’s tough but you can also make big money through it.

So, This is the reason why I started my blog GuideBlogging and In the road of making money through it,

I faced so many struggles on a daily basis but tried to improve it on a daily basis and That’s what I also want to recommend your audience that,

The problem will come and You have to face them with Patience.

Is blogging still worth in 2020?

Interesting, Blogging is still profitable as per my views and Anybody who is looking to start a blog in 2020 then I recommend go for it,

But there are some points that I want to tell your reader before they took the decision to start a blog –

1. Take Blogging as Business, It’s not a Hobby – Yes you heard right,

Because see when you start something as a hobby then it’ll be very difficult to work on it for longterm,

But, When you take it as a business then you’ll start investing your time and money on it and,

Believe me, When you take blogging as a business then you’ll see the J-Curve in your growth/revenue.

So, If you are just starting out then take it as a pure business, Not a Hobby

2. Blogging is not a quick-rich scheme – When I started my blogging career, I use to take it Blogging as a quick-rich scheme,

And, You don’t even believe that I generated my first ever dollar after hustling 1.6 Years.

Is that true?

Yes, my friend, and That’s why I’m telling you to don’t do the same mistake that I did already in my blogging career.

3. Keep The Investment Mindset – Mindset is super important for everyone.

Mindset is very important for any blogger because If you don’t have a good mindset for then it will be very difficult for you to be successful in blogging.

And, If you are just starting then I recommend you to keep the investment mindset because it’s the only thing that can help you,

I also realized this thing after working for 1 year and Believe me, If you adopt this mindset then you can easily start growing.

What was the mistake you have done at the initial stage of your blogging journey?

Being Honest, In the starting, I faced lot’s of problems but let me mention some here –

1. Shiny Object SyndromeFocus is Everything, I know many successful entrepreneurs always say these words and,

Yes, It’s true because, After purchasing my first domain and hosting,

I started working on that blog but because of so many shiny objects I’m not able to focus on that blog and The growth that I’m getting on that blog is literally destroyed.

And I can say this is my biggest mistake that I was did at an earlier time.

2. Not Doing Self Investment – I already talked about Business Investment but what about investing money in learning?

Investing money in learning is also important and If you are not doing investment then maybe you are doing something wrong,

Because You already know that I quit youtube because I don’t have the skills to edit videos and thumbnails and,

Why I don’t have skills?

Because I didn’t invest my time and money to learn these things…

So, If you are starting anything then try to keep focused and Invest your time and money in your business/learning.

How much time do you spend on blogging?
